Five Juveniles Referred to Court After Inappropriate Behavior at Richland 44 Sch

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office and the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation are continuing to investigate allegations of inappropriate behavior at Richland 44 High School in Colfax. Numerous interviews have been conducted, and it was determined that several acts were violations of North Dakota law.
A total of five juveniles have been referred to juvenile court, facing both misdemeanor and felony charges including hazing, sexual assault, felonious restraint, and terrorizing.
The investigation identified numerous juvenile male victims in various grades. No females were identified as victims or suspects.
Due to the ongoing investigation and the fact that all involved are juveniles, no further information will be released at this time.
