  • The Wahpeton School District will have breakfast and lunch available. Meals will be grab-n-go where you pick up the bag and go home to eat. Meals will be free for all students K-12. Food pickup options include breakfast and lunch bags available at the Elementary School door No. 9 only. Breakfast will be from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and lunch available at 11 am to 12:30 pm. Also, the school will deliver meals according to bus stops. A schedule is on the web site.
  • The Breckenridge School District will offer grab and go breakfasts and lunches for all students age 3-18 through Friday, March 27. Meals will be available from 9-9:30 a.m. at the Breckenridge Elementary School Door No. 9 on the northeast corner of the building. Meals will also be available at St. Mary’s School, Valley Christian  Church and Breckenridge Senior Citizen Center. If your child is interested in grab and go meals and you have not filled out the lunch survey on the Breckenridge School’s Facebook page, do so as soon as possible so meals can be prepared for all students regardless of the school they attend.
  • Creative Stitches is closed to the public, but they still will be taking orders. Call Brent at 640-1646 for all orders pending and new.
  • Wahpeton Job Service staff are still available for assistance, but doors are closed to the public
  • The Breckenridge Department of Motor Vehicles is closed. You can still drop renewals and checks in the locked box outside the office and they will be mailed
  • The Humane Society of Richland and Wilkin Counties have canceled their annual Supper and Auction for April 18 at the Wahpeton Community Center. Check their Facebook page for updates.
  • Hills 210 Cafe & Subs will be open for take out and delivery services from 8-1 and 4:30-6:30 Monday thru Saturday & 9-1 on Sunday.
  • Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wahpeton has suspended all regular gatherings until further notice.
  • Grace Lutheran Churck in Breckenridge is closed until further notice
  • All worship services and activities are cancelled at First English Lutheran Church in Fairmount until further notice
  • All Wahpeton Special Olympics activities are cancelled until April 5
  • Open Gym at the Wahpeton Middle School has been cancelled for the rest of the season.
  • Wahpeton Parks and Rec. Youth Volleyball Programs have been cancelled.
  • All Wahpeton Parks & Rec. Youth traveling Basketball practices have been cancelled.
  • Favorites Drive Thru is open, they are equipped and set up for this challenging situation.
  • St. Mary’s Church in Breckenridge and St. Thomas Church in Kent are cancelling all activities until further notice.
  • Evergreen United Methodist Church in Wahpeton has cancelled all worship services and activities and the church building is closed at this time.
  • Nodak Mutual Insurance in Wahpeton has closed their lobby until further notice. If you need to reach your agent or schedule an appointment please call the office at 642-9251.
  • Richland Title will be closed to any and all public access until further notice.  Staff will be on site please call the office at 642-2500 or email them at wahpeton@innovativeabstract-title.com.
  • The Richland Wilkin Food Pantry is open regular hours.
  • Wahpeton City Hall, Wahpeton Police Department, Leach Public Library, Wahpeton Community Center, and city street shop are closed to the public. City staff is still on hand and can be reached via telephone or email. In the event a public meeting is scheduled, arrangements will be made to allow participation electronically by officials and the public.
  • Dakota Veterinary Hospital is asking that the public remain in their vehicles when they arrive at the Vet Hospital. Please call 642-9277, and someone will come to your car.
  • North Dakota Job Service offices will be closed temporarily to limit public contact. They remain ready to assist over the phone with your workforce needs.
  • Wahpeton Community Center & Picnic Shelters Are Closed.  – Playground Use Is Discouraged – Use At Your Own Risk – Trail Walking and Running Are Encouraged – Please Enjoy – Practice Social Distance While Fishing on the Rivers.
  • Fairmount American Legion Breakfast scheduled for Sunday, April 5th has been cancelled.
