A Forman man suffered minor injuries after colliding with a ND DOT plow. The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said shortly after 2:00 yesterday (Sunday) a plow driven by 39 year old Nathan Helmer from Lidgerwood was heading west on hwy 11, about a half mile west of Lidgerwood. The plow attempted to make a left hand turn into an approach when a Kia Optima driven by 70 year old Joel Grothe tried to pass the plow. The vehicle was struck on the passenger side and forced into the south ditch. Grothe suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Lidgerwood Ambulance Personnel. No citations were issued and the accident is under investigation.
