A 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by Kim Dietz struck a deer on US HWY 281 1 mile N of Carrington, ND. Dietz was taken by ambulance to Carrington Health Care Center. Then transfered to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo via Helecopter. The motorcycle struck a deer that entered the roadway, Dietz had no time to take avasive action and was not wearing a helmet. The motorcycle came to rest on the north bound shoulder. Her condition has not been released.
