BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has been appointed to a national panel on future farm production.

Federal Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack says the Advisory Committee on Biotechnology and 21st Century Agriculture will look into ways that different forms of agricultural production can coexist.

The committee has 22 members from 16 states. Goehring says he's honored to be on the panel.
