Dakota Valley Electric is still working on restoring power in parts of the region.
According to a release from Dakota Valley Electric, as of Monday evening, 150 customers were still without power. 21 additional linemen are assisting Dakota Valley Electric crews, for a total of 41 in the field.
Damage is worse than originally thought, and work is being slowed by roads that are washed out, flooded fields, and trees that are down or on top of power lines.
Dakota Valley Electric says all customers in Richland County should have power restored, but there will be some areas south of Forman and Geneseo in Sargent County that may not have power fully restored until later today.
Some of the areas hardest hit areas south of Cogswell, and between Forman and Oakes may have extended outages through tonight.
