JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Jamestown College's head wrestling coach was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly discharged a firearm during a domestic altercation in his home.
Police Chief Dave Donegan said police responded to the home of 36-year-old Cisco J. Cole around 2 p.m. after he reportedly picked up a .30 caliber rifle and fired it into a ceiling during a
domestic altercation with his wife.
The Jamestown Sun reports that no one was injured, but two children, ages 1 and 2, were in the living room when the weapon was discharged.
Cole, head coach of the men's wresting program since 2007, was charged with reckless endangerment, which is punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
