FARGO, N.D. (AP) - The attorney for a Fargo doctor accused of drugging a woman in his home and having sex with her says his client is innocent.

His bail was set Wednesday at $50,000.

Authorities accuse Norberg of injecting the woman with an anesthetic in mid-June, rendering her unconscious.

Norberg is an orthopedic surgeon with Sanford Health. Officials there say the allegations predate his employment and the complaint does not involve any patients.

Norberg has taken a voluntary leave of absence.
