Heavy rains throughout Richland County have prompted a Flash Flood Warning for residents throughout the area.  Richland County Emergency Management Director, Brett Lambrecht, tells KBMW news that Lidgerwood residents received a CodRed warning to conserve water and plug their sewer drains as the city’s sewer system is not able to keep up.  Wyndmere residents are also asked to conserve water.  Rainfall amounts vary throughout the county.  Lidgerwood has received 3 inches of rain, upwards of 4 inches have fallen south of Lidgerwood and over 5 inches in the Hankinson area.
