Arrest Made in String of Thefts



 The North Dakota State College of Science Police has confirmed the arrest of a individual after receiving a report of a male entering a vehicle near the college complex facility.  NDSCS police, along wiht the Wahpeton Police Department apprehended a suspect who was transported to the Richland County Jail.  The suspect is not an NDSCS student and had allegedly damaged several vehicles on campus prior to his arrest.  The case remains under investigation.  NDSCS police are requesting anyone whose vehicle may have been damaged or who has items missing from a vehicle today to contact campus police at 671-2233.

Wahpeton Police Chief Scott Thorstenson reminds Wahpeton residents to keep vehicle doors locked at all times and not to leave valuables in vehicles.
