Thunderstorms rumbled through parts of the area early this morning.

Some heavy rain, gusty winds, and hail was reported in parts of the southern valley, into the Minnesota lakes country.
Nickel sized hail was reported in parts of Otter Tail County. A roof was blown off of a lean-to at Stenerson Lumber in Fergus Falls. The roof hit a power line, and knocked out power between 2 and 4am.

In Wahpeton-Breckenridge we had peak wind gust of 40mph with .21 of an inch of rain between 1 and 2am.
