EDGELEY, N.D. (AP) - Smoke damage to the North Dakota National Guard armory in Edgeley is estimated at as much as $10,000.

According to city officials, the smoke came from a kitchen fire last Thursday, when the city-owned building had been rented for a private function. Apparently, material left on the stove ignited.

Two people including a firefighter suffered minor burns.
