Hunting guides showing the location of PLOTS land in North Dakota are now available online at the state Game and Fish Department website.
The free guides also will be available at most hunting license vendors throughout the state beginning in early September. They are not available through the mail.
PLOTS stands for Private Lands Open to Sportsmen. The program pays landowners who agree to keep their property open to public hunting. This year's guide will feature about 1 million PLOTS
acres, a level reached in 2007 and maintained every year since.
