Police in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota made an unexpected discovery while executing a search warrant for stolen property.

When they went inside the house last Friday, they noticed a strong smell of marijuana and saw a substantial amount of the drug in a bedroom.

Michelle Schueller and Paul Robertson were arrested that night. They face narcotics charges.

In a second search, police found a meth lab in an unattached garage.  Detectives say they found several items used to make meth.
