Just before noon Thursday, a semi and farm truck collided at an intersection on Highway 9 near Rothsay.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 1990 International Tractor Trailer driven by 26 year-old John Arnhalt of Wolverton collided with a 2002 Peterbuilt driven by 55 year-old Leland Olson of Walcott, causing it to tip on its side and spill a load of sand.

Arnalt was injured and taken to a Fargo hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Wilkin County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation.
