BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota Public Service Commissioner Kevin Cramer says he's considering seeking the Republican endorsement to run for the U.S. House.
Cramer tells The Associated Press on Thursday it's an even chance he will run.

It would be Cramer's fourth bid for Congress. He lost to former Democratic U.S. Rep. Earl Pomeroy twice in the 1990s.

Last year, Cramer sought the Republican endorsement to run for the House. He lost to Rick Berg, and Berg later defeated Pomeroy to win the state's only U.S. House seat. Berg is now running for the
U.S. Senate.

If Cramer runs, he'll be opposing PSC colleague Brian Kalk and Fargo Rep. Bette Grande.

Cramer says it would be a "friendly race," and it wouldn't be strange campaigning against another Republican public service commissioner.
