Wahpeton Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early this morning on the city’s north side.

Police were called just before 3 am this morning to Community Homes at 1612 16th Avenue North.

A Wahpeton woman reportedly in her 20’s was stabbed multiple times by a young Wahpeton male. She has been airlifted to a Fargo hospital for treatment of multiple stabwounds.

A young male is in custody in connection with the stabbing.
