33 year-old Benjamin Hager of Wahpeton has plead guilty in US District Court to charges in connection with a case that was investigated by Homeland Security.

The charges include possession of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors and receipt of materials involving the sexual exploitation of minors.

Last November, special agents seized 747 video tapes from Hager’s apartment in Wahpeton. A review of the tapes revealed numerous images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

The charges together carry a maximum of 30 years imprisonment.

Hager will be sentenced on January 4th at US District Court in Fargo.
