JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of the inmate who died at the Stutsman County jail in Jamestown.
Stutsman County authorities identify the inmate as 31-year-old Joshua Ellis of Thompson.
According to authorities, the 31-year-old man was arrested about 3 a.m. Tuesday on charges pending in another county. Jail staff found him unresponsive about two hours later and performed CPR, but the man was pronounced dead at the Jamestown hospital.
Results from an autopsy on the cause of death will be released later.
