A Wahpeton man, initially charged with drunk driving is being charged with negligent homicide, for a fatal crash on I-29 near Hankinson in September.

Authorities say 34-year-old David Berning was drunk when his motorcyle collided with another one, causing his passenger, 25 year-old Mallie Breuer of Mooreton to fall off.

Breuer was killed in the accident. Her brother Ryan, who was driving the other motorcycle was also charged with drunk driving.
