Icy roads caused several crashes Wednesday between 8 and 9am in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

One crash injured a 21 year-old Wahpeton woman. The woman was traveling north on I-29, when she lost control on the ice, went into the median, and came out on the south bound lanes. She was struck by a 2008 Dodge Pickup driven by 63 year-old Joseph Buretta of Dilworth.

Buretta was not injured. The woman was airlifted to Essentia Health in Fargo. Her name and condition has not been released.

There were 2 minor injury and 1 property crash at the Sheyenne exit on I-94, 4 property damage crashes on I-29 at Exit 54, and 1 injury crash at the 52nd Avenue Exit.
