Two people were injured in a two vehicle collsion in northeastern Richland County early Monday evening.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2005 Toyota driven by 53 year-old Jeffrey Walters of Fargo was headed west on Richland County Road 2, when it entered the intersection with County Road 81, and was struck by a 2003 Saturn driven by 33 year-old Angela McKibben of Wahpeton.

The intersection is controlled by a yield sign.

Both drivers were injured and taken to Essentia Health in Fargo.
