ND authorities were tipped off that a fugitive wanted in Oregon may be traveling through the state, and that he was armed and dangerous.

Around 11pm last night, Stutsman County authorities stopped Jonathan Lee Oliver near Jamestown. Oliver fled, and led authorities on a low speed pursuit through parts of Barnes County. He eventually was stopped and then after a standoff with authorities he surrendered without incident. A handgun was recovered from the vehicle.

Oliver is being held in the Stutsman County Jail.
