A Wahpeton couple was injured in a one vehicle accident caused by slippery conditions shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.

According to Wahpeton Police, a 1996 Chrysler Town and Country Van driven by 26 year-old Matthew Tran, was heading south on Highway 210, lost control underneath the Highway 13 overpass, and ran into the bridge pillar.  

Tran, and his wife 38 year-old Christina Tran were taken to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  The couple's 2 month old daughter was also in the vehicle, and was not injured.

Wahpeton Police was assisted by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.  The accident is under investigation.
