BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota Democratic governor candidate Ryan Taylor said he's raised more than $46,000 for his campaign.
Taylor said the money was given in less than three weeks. He announced his candidacy Dec. 12. His state campaign disclosure report covers fundraising through the end of last year.
Taylor is the only declared Democratic hopeful who is running for the job this fall. Democrats will pick their favored candidate at the state party's convention in Grand Forks in March.
Republican Gov. Jack Dalrymple has reported raising more than $824,000 last year for his race.
Taylor says he expects Dalrymple to outspend him during the campaign, and he says he's not intimidated by the incumbent's money advantage.
