A woman was injured when the vehicle she was driving struck a guard rail on I-29 near mile marker 33. Tamara Freitag, 51, of Fargo was heading northbound on I-29 and lost control of her 2006 Toyota MiniVan when it hit a patch of ice. Freitag was using her cruise control. The vehicle hit the right guard rail and came to rest in the driving lane. She was transported to St. Francis with non-life threatening injuries and cited for DUI. Responding to the accident was the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and North Dakota Highway Patrol.
