House Fire in Campbell

A HOME IN CAMPBELL SUSTAINED SMOKE DAMAGE IN A FIRE REPORTED SHORTLY AFTER 11:00PM MONDAY NIGHT.  THE HOME IS LOCATED AT 336 3RD STREET IN CAMPBELL AND OWNED BY SHEENA FLINK AND DAN MCLAREN JUNIOR, ALONG WITH FIVE CHILDREN.  ALL OF THE OCCUPANTS ESCAPED WITHOUT INJURY.  THE SMOKE WAS LOCATED NEAR THE CHIMNEY OF THE RESIDENCE AND IN THE WALLS AND CEILING.  THE WILKIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT ALONG WITH FIRE DEPARTMENTS FROM CAMPBELL AND TINTAH RESPONDED TO THE CALL.  DURING THE INCIDENT CAMPBELL FIREMAN, BENJAMIN LOLL, WAS STRUCK BY A FIRE TRUCK.  HE WAS TAKEN TO ST. FRANCIS FOR HIS INJURY.  THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
